I attended Pittsfield in 1966, but had to leave because family matters, but did finish High School some years later by getting my GED. I was wondering if you send me any info on some of my old class mates, John Kelly, James(Jimmy) Ziter or Connie (Teal) her maiden name. I really appreciate your help. My friends use to call me(Woey) Anderson

Just saying hello to fellow classmates of 1965. I am now living in Virginia Beach and loving. I miss the friends in the Pittsfield area. But I do not miss the the cold damp weather. Sorry I missed the mini-reunion in Dec. If anyone wants to e-mail me please be my guest.

I had a great-great-uncle James Stanhope who moved to Massachusetts from Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1911, married to a Mary G. Allison. I have reason to think that he might have settled in Pittsfield. I noticed that one of your graduates in 1965 was a William Stanhope. If he thinks he has an old family connection to Nova Scotia, he's probably a distant relative of mine. I'm working on my Stanhope family tree.

Great website Class of '65. I graduated in 1968 and would like to "hear" from any '68 classmates. Living out west for the past 30 years has made it difficult to get or keep in touch with anyone. Have a great 2001!

The reunion was great! So far, not too many have charged up the phone cards that everyone received at the reunion. Please use the cards so PHS can start receiving some income for the PHS '65 Scholarship Fund.

[Please contact Anne if you couldn't attend the reunion and would like a card.]

The reunion was a great time. Hope everyone had as much fun as we did. Maybe 2005 will bring still more new faces. It could never happen if we didn't have Jeanne leading us.

Thanks to everyone who was instrumental in orchestrating a successful 35th reunion. It was the first one that I had attended and I enjoyed it immensely. It was good to see that some of us (?) had aged gracefully. As Pat Litano and Bailey Rogers mused; It was reminiscence of the Wayside and Red's in Dalton.

Among the big things that are happening ... Class of '65 ... Boy was I there, huh? Remember '65 when we used to come up there ... do the dances.

You want to know something Gospel .. The way I feel about Pittsfield and you guys and gals, if I weren't doing three things this weekend, I would show up and have a little fun and bring some prizes ... I wish you guys have the greatest time ... I miss them, God, I miss coming up to the Boy's Club.

What was his name? Fred, who used to run it ... the fire baton twirler. Are you kiddin me? We almost burned down a million places ... One of the things I had, and let's face it, it was a pleasure ... I used to bring the world's biggest hoola hoop to the Pittsfield dances. It was not one, not two, but three big metal hoola hoops put together ... the girls and even the guys could spin the hoola hoop so easily, it was hard to judge ... but this thing was enormous and one night, in Pittsfield, it broke. And it hit a girl across the face and I was scared, I mean she got a bloody nose, but she was so wonderful. And Fred says "You gotta stay out of Massachusetts until we see if there's a lawsuit" ...

Hey listen, have the greatest time and go on to a beautiful life. Keep listening to Legends (on 1540AM, WPTR).

That's great ... Pittsfield Class of '65. They were the greatest guys and gals of my musical life.

Beautiful quilt.... I am a graduate of Pittsfield High in 1980. I am trying to find out information on our 20 year reunion. I could not find any information on the internet on it...any suggestions on how I might find out? I haven't kept in touch with anyone and they do not have my new address.

I was just reviewing the reunion pictures on this site. Does Maria, DeDe, Linda & Sue still look incredible? Has Shane's, Tim's or Baxter's hairline receded further? Can Jeanne look more relieved than when the event finally happens? Come to the reunion for the answers! Would love to see you there! We've been working hard to pull together the logistics to make this a successful event. It AIN'T easy!

I was at Taconic High the other day...the staff is very connected to Gerol, Gerri Petruzella's son. The school is collecting funds for him for college..apparently he has no money. If anyone is interested in donating have them send a check made out to Taconic High School.. Please mail it to Beverly Gans at the high school.

We are still living in the Pitt. and have worked on and attended all the 1966 reunions and some of the 1965 ones, too. Our class needs one of these sites, maybe we can look into it at the next reunion planning meeting next year.

Remember how we all listened to WPTR and WTRY. WPTR just returned to the air at AM 1540 after being of all things a religious station. Now it's a "Legends" station. The morning DJ from 6AM-10AM is Boom Boom Branigan and he still sounds the same. The format is Music Memories, mainly from the 40's and 50's, but some 60's.

WTRY is still at AM 980 but also FM 98.6. The format is Oldies. Would you believe -- they're still playing the same music?
