Fears that weeknight rather than weekend performances of Pajama Game would be unsuccessful were proven groundless by attendance figures. Approximately 1,000 and 1,300 people attended the Wednesday and Thursday evening performances, respectively. The musical was a success from all angles--dramatically, musically and financially. After expenses are paid, the class of '65 expects a profit of $500,to be used for their scholarship fund.
This success did not come about naturally, however. Thanks are due to many hard-working people who put in long hours on this play. This includes cast, chorus, dancers, orchestra and technical crews. Probably the most deserving of credit are the various directors. Mrs. Mooney, play director; Miss Alfonse, music director; and Miss Holroyd, choreographer, deserve a special hand for the many hours they put in. Thank-yous also go to Dave Glodt, stage manager; KrisRutka, asst. stage manager; and Mr. Herrick, senior class advisor.
The "titanic struggle for pajama survival" wouldn't have been the success it was without the help of all these people,
