Class of 1965
Kerry Meehan Lane's
Message to the Class
|
A life well-lived is a precious gift of hope and strength from someone who has made our world a brighter, better place. It's filled with smiles, and friendships formed, good times shared and laughter through the years. A life well-lived is a legacy of joy and pride and pleasure, a loving, lasting memory our grateful hearts will treasure. I wish to thank Jeannie, Tim, Ray, John, Jim and Jerry for coming long distances to represent the class and pay your respects. I wish to thank Bob Dastoli as well as Tim, John, and Jimmy again for your weekly phone calls, Wayne for your funny e-mails and everyone who has sent cards, e-mails, and phone calls during the past year. Maria and DeeDee sent a beautiful lei from Hawaii at Christmas. The Reverend Jim Nagle prayed with Baxter during a lengthy phone call. I thank-you again for the lovely purple/white floral arrangement you sent in memory of Baxter and to those classmates who sent a tribute to the funeral home. A special hug to John Callan for his tribute to Baxter. I could really go on and on about the outpouring of support over the last year from our great class of 1965. You were all very special to him. I want you all to know that he had no pain and 2 hours before his last breath, he told me he was "at peace". He died as he had lived----peacefully. Love, Kerry |
