Baxter's 2005 Christmas Message |
I am
amazed it is time to write another Christmas letter -- but it is and what a year
it has been -- surprise party in Pittsburgh, engagement, reunion, grandson,
retirement, wedding, with a little side trip to Biloxi (before hurricane
Katrina) and Hawaii thrown in for good measure.
It started out rather routinely with my weekly commute to Annapolis. In Feb, Kerry and I had our regular get together with Jerry Moynihan and Jan, and would you believe it, 16 of my high school classmates showed up for a surprise weekend bash in Pittsburgh. It was great to see them all and get an early start on our 40th reunion. Brendan and Janelle got engaged in May and had an Oct wedding with Brian as the best man and Kelly as a bridesmaid. In Aug. we got word from Brian and Wendy that we might be grandparents for the second time. Colin was adopted and welcomed into the family, a brother for Annabel. Kelly continues to enjoy life by fixing up her home and traveling. The highlight of 2005 for us has been the outpouring of support from family, friends and co-workers. We have been blessed in so many ways and want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year. Love to all, Kerry and Baxter |
