New York State Museum New York Exhibit


Zach, Sam R, and Sam C on the New York City Subway. We liked swinging from the hand loops which is used for people who are standing up on the train. 

Motor Bus from New York City operated from 1925-1938. We could stand in the doorway of the bus.

Sam and Zach standing in from of a hand pump for putting out fires from Waterford, 1863. 

Sam and Zach in front of a steam fire engine from Hudson, NY from 1875. It is a typical first fire engine.  

Sam liked this Fleet Model A from 1931.

Amethyst from Brazil. This was a very tall mineral rock with crystals inside.

Mammouth skull was found in 1934 in Randolph, NY. The tusks were as tall as we were.

This is an exhibit in the Discovery Center. The ball kept shooting up in the air by an airstream. If you could get the ball in the right place, it would float.
