Three on a Bear

Eeek! This bear standing on it's legs is very tall. Taller than most adults. It showed us that you shouldn't mess with bears -- they are huge and dangerous!!

This is a baby cub. Finally, something smaller that's not so huge and ferocious looking.

Bears, bears and more bears. These are all stuffed bears, but the black one in the middle of the top shelf is a real stuffed bear cub. The others are fakes.

About Brown Bears I'm reading about the life of Brown Bears. They live in Pennsylvania and Minnesota. They are bigger in Minnesota then they are in Pennsylvania.

Bear Trap This is a bear trap. You put meat in the middle of the trap and the jaws will trap the bear. Ouch!!

This is a bear climbing a tree, possibly to get honey. Bears can climb trees if there's thick bark and lot's of branches.

Click on the picture for a closer view.

Bear Bladders These are bear gall bladders. Bears are sometimes killed illegally in the United States just for the gall bladder. They're used in Chinese medicine and are sold on the black market.

This is a brown bear in Wisconsin.

This is a picture of an adult grizzly bear scull. The weight of the actual bear is unknown, but the skull was very big.

The skull was very scary looking. It shows you how powerful the grizzly bear is.

Bears Eating Pupea Two black bears eating black ant pupea. The pupea is the third stage of a growing ant.

The bears use their claws to open the decaying log.

Bear raiding the trash With old trash cans, bears have learned how to get inside them and eat the garbage. That's a real bother for people who live in bear country.

Bears have been known to go into homes looking for more food. Many bears have learned that this is an easier way to find food than hunting for it themselves.

Problem Solved: This is a bear-proof trash can. A bear can't reach the food inside. There is no way to reach around without hurting his arms or legs.

This is a video about Grizzly Bears. They showed what they eat. They also showed a mother bear who was defending her cub.

Bears also get angry when they think you're trying to take away their food.

This is bear scat. Enough said!!!!
