We are playing with the Bubble Maker. The bubbles are
huge! You can blow them from the back side and they
will stretch out really far -- maybe even a foot or so.
This is exhibit about how to stop a moving horse.
When you press the button, a horse goes around in
a circle and then you have to turn a knob to figure
out how to stop it.
When you sit down on the chair and peddle the wheels
the energy from the spinning wheel would light up the
lightbulbs. Both light bulbs are on because both are
connected to the energy and Thea is peddling very,
very fast.
This is an electric car. Most cars are powered
primarily by gasoline. When we don't have any
gasoline left in the ground, this will be the only way
to get around.
This is a space vehicle for riding around on the
surface of the moon. It has an antenna to communicate
with satellites. It also has solar panels to generate
energy to help it run. In the planetarium we saw a
space vehicle similar to this one, but it had seats.
We are making shadows on the wall. When the light
was on it would attach our shadows to the wall.
When the light went off, you could step back and
see your shadow. The wall could do this because it
absorbs the light.
We are making different sounds with common objects, such
as boots, bells, platic bags, wood blocks, table and
a belt. The sounds were used on the radio to make
sound effects. Click on the picture and you will
here some of the sounds we made.
