Here's some sights and sounds from visits by our Cyber Haus computer campers.
Inside the Shuttle Cargo Bay, you can click on pictures to see movie clips.
At the controls, you can simulate flight on the shuttle.
What you have to do is land the shuttle.
In a demonstration of static electricity, you can
put your hand on the sphere and all the beams of electricity
are pulled toward your fingers.
In a model train demonstration, you can watch logs loading
on a flat car.
Test your reflexes by pressing the button from one to
twelve and then back again. Astronauts have to do this
before being allowed to go on a mission.
Hold a switch down and after
a while, the water in a tank begins to spin
and forms a tornado.
The museum has a reptile center. The director lets you
pet lizards and snakes.
The museum sponsors workshops for learning and fun. Look and
listen to the drumming workshop we went to
in February 1997.
We took a ride on the Space Bus during our visit in December 1997.
Our February 1999 Computer Camp visited the museum too.
