Marine Reptiles






The majority of marine reptiles are sea turtles; however, there are some sea snakes and some marine lizards (like those found on the Galapagos Island). Sea turtles fall under the catergory of marine terapods which are marine organisms with four legs. Crocodiles and alligators also fall under this catergory. Most marine turtles are endangered or threatened and so it is important to take measures to keep their numbers from declining further.
