Hi everyone! I've been getting some nice stories and comments concerning my site and I hate deleting them, so I decided to make a page about it. These also include opinions on the Goldman/Morgenstern debate. :) I can't promise to update it too often, but I will try! Thanks to everyone who has shared stories and comments about my site!

Well I think that there is no such thing as the reunion scene or whatever it is that Mr. Goldman calls it. You got to give him credit he's definately creative. I love the Princess Bride just as much as you do and I would absolutely love to see a sequel or a second book or something that relates to it in any way -- Melissa Brown

I think The Princess Bride is definitely one of the greatest books ever written and the movie is great. William Goldman is a master to even make you wonder if S. Morgenstern exists. I can't help every time I pick up the book but to begin again the debate in my head. It seems so real so detailed and logical. But I have come to the conclusion that is only because Goldman is soooo good. I have always been tempted to write in for the reunion scene but feared it was only a joke. Now I definitely will. -- Robyn

Love your page!!! May I add a link to it from mine? -- Rebekah Staggs aka JaeByrd

You don't know me, but I am a college student and I have to turn in a major paper tomorrow and there was some vital information that needs to go on my works cited page and thanks to your page, I am finished. Thank you so much. Of all the PB pages that I searched through, yours was the only one with the factual information and cast list and I just wanted to say that you are the stuff. Thanks again. By the way, The Princess Bride is an awesome movie- definitely one of my faves. Have a nice day. Thanks again. Sincerely, Ted

I just wanted to let you know that I absolutely loved your page. The Princess Bride is one of my favorite movies and I'm so glad to see that there is a page like yours to do it justice. -- Rob Pruitt

Love your page. The Princess Bride is one of my dad and Is favorite movie. I love the sounds included in this page. Keep up the good work. -- Cerissa

Hello, my name is Megan, and I don't usually do this, but I just saw your Web Page and I thought it was fabulous! Quick little story, when we first saw that movie, my little bro was about 4, and the ROUS' and the life-sucking machine gave him nightmares for a week! He's not a big fan these days, I don't know if that's why, but I think it's funny!

I was looking at your pb faq's regarding the debate about the existence of a real S. Morgenstern. I'm a catalog librarian and couldn't resist checking it out. I got on OCLC which is a database of millions of titles from thousands of libraries. I did not find S. Morgenstern. I did find _The Silent Gondoliers_. It is also a William Goldman book (Ballantine/Del Rey, 1983). --Merry

I had no idea that this was anyone elses favorite movie besides mine! My family always cringes when I mention the movie or quote lines from it! Especially my sister. Thanks for putting your web site out. -- Alexander & Julia

Loved it...almost as much as a good mutton sandwich--Amie

Just thought you'd like to know there is someone out there that appreciates the nice job you did on The Princess Bride page!--A Princess fan, Jason

what a truely remakable job you have done on this site!--GreenGem

Hey. I just wanted to say that you have a really well laid out site, and that The Princess Bride is my favorite movie of all time. I grew up watching it and I love it. I just recently pulled it out of my movie cabinet and watched again....it must be the best movie ever made. Thank you for such an informative site.--Matthew Peltier

[With regards to S. Morgenstern as author of PB] I think it's fake...I have been looking for the Unabridged form for six years with no luck--Christopher Nikolai

This is the best page I've seen on The Princess Bride. You did a great job on it. It was easy to move around through and I enjoyed reading about your encounter with Mandy. Well done.--Jenna

Oh yeah i LOVE the chicken jokes.--Julie

The page is great...I love the sounds...the pictures...everything gets a paws up. Major kudos on the web page. I must say it is one of my favorite PB sites and I have pretty much seen them all. But all in all...what else can i say but...FABU JOB--Kat

In regards to who wrote the book, I'm convinced that S. Morgenstern does not exist and this is why--The Princess Bride: Liner Notes. If you read it is says that William Goldman wrote the book for his daughters. He said it himself that he is the author so S. Morgenstern must be just another character in the book. I hope this helps solve the mystery.--Nicole

WOW. This is great. I didn't think that poeple who loved this movie as much as me existed. Once again I say WOW. I have this to say: All you Princess Bride Lovers spread the great news about this movie. Want if all the fans got together and had a Princess Bride Fest...that would be great--Nancy Hutchinson

I was watching the princess bride, and i noticed something that bothered me. when westley dies from the machine, he lets out a heartwrenching yell that can be heard throughout the forest. inigo hears this and assumes that it is the man in black because his love was to marry prince humperdink... how did he know? the man in black never mentioned to inigo anything about having been in love, and especially not to the princess. this has been bothering me because i've seen the movie 3 times in the past week because comedy central keeps airing it and there's nothing better on tv. do you have any insights about this?--Marina

The Princess Bride is a great movie. It's my favorite. And yes I think it was a little better than Titanic. And Westley--Cary Elwes--is the best and cutest actor. And so is Leo.--Marie

I also sent in for the scene. Although I was disappointed in not getting it I loved the letter. It was hilarious. I had always hoped that Morgenstern was a real person but I agree with you that he is just another character that Goldman created. I too loved the movie and the book made me laugh out loud. Great Web site. Thanks--Kristy

FYI there is absoultely so such person a S. Morgenstern. (at least as it relates to the book) A Guilder and a Florin are the exact same thing. (a unit of money, italian if memory serves) Blue jeans were invented in Americia--obviously much after the book was "written" by S. Morgenstern. In reality, the forewards, asides, comments from Goldman are part of the novel. It is not just a story of adventure, but a story about fathers and sons. Goldman is a fantastic writer of both movies and books (I'm working my way though his catalog right now) and this book is his supreme achivement in storytelling. A book with too levels so obvious, that they are hidden. Heck the deeper meening is written in italics for heaven's sake, but most people (myself included upon first, and many other readings) are fooled by his Purloined Letter story. Hope I cleared things up.--dtryon

This page is totally the BEST Princess Bride page I have ever come in contact with and I've seen many other PB sites. The Princess Bride is my Passion. I'm sure you can understand why. My poor friends are getting fed up with me because all I ever do is quote from the Princess Bride movie and book. Actually I even carry the book around as if it was my bible and I was some sort of missonary.--Rachel

This is wonderful-just what I love about the movie and a fun way to play with it-this really boosts my somewhat low opinion of the quality of web sites - thank you thank you thank you. I hope you never give up on this beautiful tribute to an equally beautiful film--Carrie

I have recently discovered the wonders of The Princess Bride and am enjoying it immensely. This movie adds to my list of Strange-But-Funny-Movies-That-Few-People-Know-Of-But-All-That-Do-Love-Them-
To-The-Point-Of-Obsession.
