A Visit to the Henry Hudson Park

Here's some sights from the visit by our computer campers during our August 1999 Cyber Haus Computer Camp.

We're eating a picnic lunch at the park. Some of us had visited the park before when we were learning about Henry Hudson in school.

In the car, we passed a small playground.

This is a marker at the park. The Halfmoon was the ship that Henry Hudson sailed up the river in 1609.

This is a flag pole at the center of the picnic area. At the bottom of the flag pole is a stone with the marker on it. The marker is on the left.

We are having subs, bagels, chips and sodas for lunch. In the background, you can see the Dutch Apple II.

This is a police car from the SWAT team. They were practicing near the park.
